Jo French
Andy Veitch

Andy qualified in 1986 and became a partner in the business in 1991. His interests are in small animal medicine and surgery and he mostly sees pets but is let out on occassions to do farm visits.

After giving up rugby a few years ago his main interests are cricket, cycling and walking his dogs Bonnie and Barney.

Jo joined the practice from Glasgow University in 2004 and specialises in cattle work with a keen interest in dairy cow fertility and nutrition.  When not at work she enjoys walking her two chocolate labradors Poppy and Harris in the countryside.

Jane Borland

Jane came to the practice in 2011 after working in Kircudbright for a year. Her main interest is in farm work.

She is a keen runner and her dog Ruari is never far behind her

Walter Mitchell

Walter qualified in 2011 from Glasgow Vet School and worked in Alexandria for 4 years before moving here in September 2015. He has a keen interest in farm work and enjoys outdoor pursuits with his Springer Spaniel and Labrador

Amy Kerr

Amy joined the practice in the summer of 2018 having graduated from Edinburgh Vet School. She lives on a suckler and sheep farm and has interest in all aspects of mixed practice

Siobhan Smith

Siobhan joined the practice in 2001 after the foot & mouth outbreak to help us out with the backlog of  TB testing.

She has stayed on as a locum, juggling working in practice with bringing up 4 kids
